Na kraju ovoga rada sa posebnim zadovoljstvom ističemo da je opera tiva ova istraživanja svesrdno prihvatila i pomogla. Kolege iz pomenutih rad nih organizacija su i sami učestvovali u oformljenju ovih ogleda. Ne čekajući konačne, kompleksne rezultate ovih istraživanja oni su sami već za svoja područja odabrali neke najekonomičnije varijante, koje danas primenjuju u svojim operativnim zadacima. Ovim istraživanjima, tj. primenom nekih od iznetih varijanti racionalizacije seča, u operativi su praktično, započeti temelji racionalizacije seča kao mera negovanja šuma u SR Srbiji, za kojima se upravo danas oseća posebna potreba. Summary PROBLEM OF RATIONALIZING IMPROVEMENT FELLINGS IN THE STAND Taking into consideration that through rationalization of fellings — as special tending operations in young stands — by applying a special phytotechnique, organization and technology the highest economy in forest production can be achieved, the Institute for Silviculture of the Forestry Faculty, Beograd, initiated in 1971—1972 investigations on the rationalization of fellings as a measure of stand improvement. To this purpose experiments were laid out in the region of the Forest Enterprise »Boranja«, Valjevo, in the Forest District Magleš on Povlen Mountain, in artificially established 30 year-old cultures of Black and Scots Pines (Pinus nigra and P. silvestris), and in 33 year-old pure culture of Norway Spruce (Picea excelsa); also in the Forest District of Kosjerić (the Forest Enterprise Titovo Uzice) on Bukovi Moutain, in a 20 year-old culture of Black Pine (Pinus nigra). The experiments on Magleš are laid out on the habitat of montane Beech (Fagetum montanum serbicum), while the experiments in the Forest District Kosjerić are on the habitat of Black and Scots Pines (Pinetum nigrae-silvestris). |
