me istraživanja. U te programe moraju biti uključena fundamennntalna istraživanja
koja će biti usko povezana s primjenjendm istraživanjima a koja
zajedno trebaju dati ne samo nove pojedinačna parcijalna rješenja i potpuno
nove tehnologije već za društvene zajednice, nacije, pa i svijet u cjelini, nove
i bolje prihvatljivije koncepcije o značaju pošumljdvanja degradiranih terena
za dobrobit ljudskog roda. Kod toga je potrebna i međunarodna suradnja.
FAO i IUFRO su u tom pogledu i do sada mnogo ´učinili, a u budućnosti njihova
uloga treba biti još veća.
