SUMMARY: By the latest floristic researches made in the territory of Croatia,
a large number of new habitats of the species Cornus hungarica has been
found as well as a typical spreading in the north-south direction that is
put in connection with the ornithochorie effectued by the autumnal migration
of Centarl-European birds in the same direction.


So far, the species C. hungarica has been known from 38 localities, and
these latest researches showed its cronsiderable presence in the continental
part of Croatia, making it known now on 101 localities.
