J. Gračan, D. Kajba. S. Perić, M. Idžojtić. M. Ivanković, H. Marjanović: PROGRAM EUROPSKI ŠUMSKI Šumarski list br. 11-12, CXXVII1 (2004), 689-697
FORGEN program prihvatljivim i
korisnim za povećanje napora članice
za očuvanje šumskih genetskih
resursa (FGR).

Što se tiče Faze - III, smatra se
kako bi u budućnosti EUFORGEN

- program trebao putem zajedničkog
djelovanja radnih po vrstama
i tematski grupa. Važnost prelaska
na praktičnu primjenu različitih naputaka
i povezivanje genske konzervacije
s potrajnim gospodarenjem
šumama.
Nakon kratke uvodne rasprave
prešlo se na raspravu po prijedlozima
EUFORGEN - programa po poglavljima:
(1) uvod, (2) trajanje
programa, (3) područje rada, (4)
ciljevi Faze - III, (5) način rada,

(6) dokumentacija i politika informiranja,
(7) članarina (budžet).
Poglavlje uvod i trajanje programa
usvojeni su bez rasprave, dok je
područje rada detaljno raspravljeno,
a neki dijelovi teksta su promijenjeni
i dopunjeni. Članice radne grupe
("Task force") uključili su prijedloge
u tekst, osobito one s naglaskom
na pravilnu uporabu šumskog reprodukcijskog
materijala. Bitne
rasprave vodene su u svezi s ciljevima
i područjima rada za Fazu III.
Prihvaćena su tri cilja, a to su :

1.
Promicanje praktične uporabe
konzervacije gena i uporabe genetskih
resursa kao i integralnog
dijela potrajnog gospodarenja
šumama;
2.
Olakšati daljnji razvoj metoda
Populus nigra is a typical
pioneer species growing
in riparian mixed forests
in Europe and was a
model species for
this first EUFORGEN
Network. The species
is threatened by
extinction in large parts
of the distribution area,
mainly due to habitat
disturbance by human
activity; replacement
by and interspecific
hybridization with
Euramerican poplars.

3.
Omogućiti raspoložive i širiti nove inforamcije o
šumskim genetskim resursima u Europi.
Shodno ciljevima utvrđena je lista aktivnosti pojedinačno
za svaki cilj. Usvojene su i prihvaćene manje
promjene u vezi s tim.

Razmatrajući način rada (5), prihvaćena su ova potpoglavlja:
Nacionalni koordinatori, Nadzorni odbor
i Međunarodni sekretarijat s neznatnim dopunama.
Nadzorni odbor odlučio je utemeljiti nove tematske
radne grupe pod nazivom Potraj no gospodarenje i
Informacije.

Nacionalni koordinatori imenovat će predstavnike u
radnu grupu potrajno gospodarenje. Predstavnici (1-3)

Populus nigra Network

A major achievement of the
Network is the establishment
of the European collections

all together holding a tots.
of 2789 accessions, and the
related databases which

are available online
The combined database
of P. nigra clones currently
contains passport data for

about 3200 clones from 28
countries, covering almost
the entire disti ibution range.

Preliminary evaluation of the
core collection of clones,
which contains material from

22 countries so far, shows
high levels of morphological

variation. Plans are underway

to establish an international
collection of provenances

based on the material

collected within the recently

completed EU-funded

EUROPOP project. A core

coflection of P. alba will

also be established and a

database of P. alba clones

is underway.

Technical Guidelines for in situ conservation

A Technical Bulletin was produced in 2001

and distributed in Europe, China and North

America consisting of four chapters: general

considerations and basic strategies;

regeneration - requirements and promotion

measures; genetic considerations for the

restoration of riparian populations; and

indicators for monitoring genetic diversity.

For ex situ collections, practical guidelines

were developed for safe conservation

in the field/seedbanks. A laminated

identification sheet was made available in

six languages to ease practical handling

during field inventories.

Slika 6.

grupe (Četinjače, Plemenite listače, Hrastovi i bukva
i Topole) ili tri (četinjače, listače s prekinutim i
listače s neprekinutim - kontinuiranim arealom za
vrijeme Faze III.). Kako nije bilo jedinstvenog stava da
li četiri ili tri radne grupe, glasovanjem se odlučilo za
tri radne grupe. Radne grupe: mediteranski hrastovi,
plemenite listače, crna topola, umjerene listače
(hrastovi i bukva) restruktuirat će se u dvije grupe.

Novi sastanak "Task force" radne skupine bit će sazvan
kako bi se predložili novi nazivi radnih grupa i kako
će se postojeće listače uključiti u nove radne grupe s
