UPU TEAU TO RI MA– INSTRUCTIONS FORAUTHORS Šumarski list objavljuje znanstvene i struč ne članke iz po dručja {umarstva, odnosno svih znan stvenih grana pri - pa da jućih šumarstvu, zatim zaštite prirode i lovstva. Svaki znan stveni i stručni članak trebao bi težiti provedbi auto ro - ve zamisli u stručnu praksu, budući da je šu mar ska znanost pri mjenjiva. U rubrikama ča so pisa donose se napisi o zaš - ti ti pri rode povezane uz šume, o obljetnicama, znanstve - nim i stručnim skupovima, knjigama i časopisima, o zbi va - njima u Hrvatskom šumarskom društvu, ti je ku i zaključ ci - ma sjednica Upravnoga odbora te go diš nje i izvanredne skup štine, obavijesti o ogran cima Društva i dr. Svi napisi koji se dostavljaju Uredništvu, zbog objav lji - vanja moraju biti napisani na hr vat skom jeziku, a znan - stve ni i stručni radovi na hrvatskom ili engleskom jeziku, s na slo vom i pod naslovima prevedenim na egleski, od nos - no hr vatski jezik. Dokument treba pripremiti u formatuA4, sa svim mar- ginama 2,5 cm i razmakom redova 1,5. Font treba bitiTi - mes New Roman veličine 12 (bilješke – fusnote 10), sam tekst normalno, naslovi bold i velikim slovima, podnaslovi bold i malim slovima, autori bold i malim slovima bez titu - la, a u fusnoti s titulama, adresom i elekro ničkom adresom (E-mail). Stranice treba obrojčati. Opseg teksta članaka može imati najviše 15 stranica za - jed no s prilozima, odnosno tablicama, grafikonima, sli ka ma (crteži i fotografije) i kartama.Više od 15 stranica može se pri hvatiti uz odobrenje urednika i recenzenata. Cr teže, fo to - gra fije i karte treba priložiti u visokoj rezoluciji. Priloge opisati dvojezično (naslove priloga, glave tab - li ca, mjerne jedinice, nazive osi grafikona, slika, ka ra ta, fo tografija, legende i dr.) u fontu Times New Ro man 10 (po potrebi 8). Drugi jezik je u kurzivu. U tekstu ozna čiti mje sta gdje se prilozio moraju postaviti. Rukopisi znanstvenih i stručnih radova, koji se prema pret hodnim uputama dostavljaju ured ništvu Šumarskoga lista, moraju sadrža va ti sažetak na engleskom jeziku (na hr vatskome za članke pisane na engleskom jeziku), iz ko - je ga se može dobro indeksirati i abstraktirati rad. Taj sa že - tak mora sadržavati sve za članak zna čaj no: dio uvoda, opis objek ta istraživanja, me to du rada, rezultate is tra ži va - nja, bit no iz ras prave i zaključke. Sadržaj sažetka (Sum - mary) mora upućivati na dvojezične priloge – tablice, gra - fi kone, slike (crteže i fotografije) iz teksta članka. (I. = prvo slovo imena; str. = stranica) Forestry Journal publishes scientific and specialist ar - ticles from the fields of forestry, forestry-related scientific branches, nature protection and wildlife management. Every scientific and specialist article should strive to convert theauthor’s ideas into forestry practice. Different sections of the journal publish articles dealing with a broad scope of topics, such as forest nature protection, anniversaries, scientific andprofessional gatherings, books and magazines, activities of the Croatian Forestry Association, meetings and conclusionsof the Managing Board, annual and extraordinary me etings, announcements on the branches of the Association, etc. All articles submitted to the Editorial Board for publica- tion must be written in Croatian, and scientific and specialist articles must be written in Croatian and English. Titles and subheadings must be translated into English or Croatian. Documents must be prepared in standard A4 format, allmargins should be 2.5 cm, and spacing should be 1,5. The font should be 12-point Times New Roman (notes – foot- notes 10). The text itself should be in normal type, the titlesin bold and capital letters, the subheadings in bold and small letters, and the authors in bold and small letters with- out titles. Footnotes should contain the name of the author together with titles, address and electronic address (e-mail). The pages must be numbered. A manuscript with all its components, including tab l es, graphs, figures (drawings and photographs) and maps, should not exceed 15 pages. Manuscripts exceeding 15 pa - ges must be approved for publication by editors and review- ers. The attached drawings, photographs and maps should be in high resolution. All paper components should be in two languages (titles ofcomponents, table headings, units of measure, graph axes, fi - gures, maps, photographs, legends and others) and the fontshould be 10-point Times New Roman (8-point size if neces- sary). The second language must be in italics. Places in the text where the components should be entered must be marked. Manuscripts of scientific and specialist papers, written according to the above instructions and submitted to the Editorial Board of Forestry Journal, must contain anabstract in English (or in Croatian if the article is written in English). The abstract should allow easy indexation andabstraction and must contain all the key parts of the article: a part of the introduction, description of research topic, method of work, research results, and the essentials from the discussion and conclusions. The summary must give an indi- cation of bilingual components – tables, graphs and figures (drawings and photographs) from the article. Rules for reference lists: Journal article:Last name, F., F.
