su po svojim morfološkim osobinama populacijama običnoga bora s Balkanskoga poluotoka.
Provedenim istraživanjem dobivene su spoznaje o raznolikosti i strukturiranosti populacija običnoga bora na sjeverozapadnom području Male Kapele, što je osnova za daljnja istraživanja koja je potrebno provesti kako bi se dobile smjernice za gospodarenje i očuvanje genskih resursa ove vrste u Hrvatskoj. Kako bi se potvrdili dobiveni zaključci o varijabilnosti običnoga bora, istraživanja je potrebno proširiti i na molekularno-biološke metode.
