Zagreb. An anonymous survey, in which 79 % of the respondents took part, was applied. At the Forestry Department of the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Zagreb 7 % of the employees are women, at the Forest Research Institute Jastrebarsko there are 23 % and at the State Enterprise "Croatian Forests" Inc. Zagreb there are 17 % of women.
The majority of women in the survey (85 %) doesn´t stem from families traditionally engaged in forestry. 65 % of the respondents graduated on time, and every fourth graduate continued to study at post-graduate studies.
