Structure Analysis of Hunters in the Range of the Krapina-Zagorje County     pdf     HR     EN		361
Summary: There are 2294 hunters in 38 hunting associations in the Krapinsko-zagorska County. The conditions which a hunter has to fulfill are regulated by the law ("Narodne novine" nr. 10/94., 29/99. and 14/01.). To be able to show the skill of hunters in their activities on the hunting ground, it is necessary to establish their age, experience and educational structure. Their structure is the following: the majority of the hunters are between 40 and 60 years of age, with 1 to 20 years of experience and with secondary school. Low share of graduated people is disturbing, for it is their obligation to keep the hunting on higher level. Therefore the education of younger people is recommended to achieve greater interests for membership in hunting associations, to enlarge advantages for the hunting science itself and realize better presentations in the society. The last analysis shows the percentage of pensioners in hunting associations and it shows that nearly one quarter of the hunters is retired. In the most of the hunting associations older members are freed from engagements on the hunting ground, so the entire work is upon the younger members who also have less free time. It seems, after all, that education and good will are what matters. Key words: hunters; hunting associations; Krapinsko-zagorska Count
