Analysis of Financial Indexes in Making Use of the Hunting Right in an “Unprofitable” Hunting-Ground     pdf     HR     EN 505
Summary: In the Krapinsko-zagorska district there are 39 hunting societies registered in accordance with law regulations, with the purpose of using the right to hunt within the hunting grounds of the district, where small game is mainly also the primary game. In the majority of hunting grounds the game reserves meet the requirements only of authorized hunters, so these hunting grounds cannot be declared as commercially profitable.
The hunting society “Kuna” from Pregrada was the base for financial indexes, with a hunting year that should show the number of small game that could be raised in the hunting ground (its economic capacity).
The results of the analysis show that incomes of the society exceed outgoings for only 3,5 %, but the expenses do not include the value of work or real expenses of the members in fulfilling their rights and duties within the society. The expenses include only outgoings paid in cash.
Due to the analysis, the only legal solution to cover accidental unforeseeable major expenses of such society is only the increase of membership subscriptions.
Key words: financial resources; hunters; hunting society
